Quality Analyst (Manufacturing & Testing)
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $27-28
Overview:
This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing quality, customer experience, and data-driven decision-making.
You’ll own the end-to-end quality feedback loop—from identifying ATM out-of-box failures to driving corrective actions that improve product performance before it reaches the customer.
Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, field performance, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Own Quality Performance & Customer Impact:
- Manage and resolve Out-of-Box Failures (OBF) and customer-reported issues.
- Investigate root causes with manufacturing, staging, and deployment teams.
- Ensure fast, closed-loop resolution to prevent repeat issues.
Drive Data-Backed Quality Improvements:
- Analyze quality trends, failure patterns, and operational gaps.
- Maintain and manage quality databases and reporting systems.
- Translate data into actionable insights and prioritized improvements.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain hardware and software test platforms for ATM test systems.
- Design and execute automated and manual tests for system validation and verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze test results and generate reports to support engineering decisions.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, test records, and procedures.
Strengthen Process & Build Quality:
- Promote adherence to manufacturing and staging quality processes.
- Ensure documentation, workflows, and testing protocols meet standards.
- Identify breakdowns and implement process corrections at scale.
Partner Cross-Functionally:
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Services, Field Deployment, and Customer Fulfillment.
- Act as a quality advocate, influencing teams to adopt better practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support where needed.
Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Define and present quality metrics and performance KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve product reliability and customer experience.
- Support Lean / Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years experience in quality, manufacturing, or technical operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel strongly preferred).
Requirement:
Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment, following standard operating procedures, adhering to safety and quality guidelines, and supporting production and test activities in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Technical or Engineering-related field preferred).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge or academic exposure to test and system engineering concepts, with an interest in test automation, and system validation.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks.
- Background in hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environments.
